Chris Wilcoxson – Extra Innings Instructor
Coach Wilcoxson is entering her second season as head coach of the Reinhardt Eagles women’s softball teams. In the inaugural 2005 season, Reinhardt posted at 15-5 conference record, finishing fifth in the SSAC. Prior to coaching at Reinhardt, Wilcoxson was the Head Softball Coach at Palmetto High School in Florida. Coach Wilcoxson played softball at Auburn University from 1996-1999, earning two SEC All Academic Team Awards.

Dustin Evans – Extra Innings Instructor
Dustin played college baseball at Georgia Southern. He was drafted by the Atlanta Braves and is currently playing in their minor league organization.

Desmond Jones
– Extra Innings Instructor
Desmond Jones played college baseball at Middle Georgia College. After playing one season at MGC, he was drafted by the Washington Nationals in the 11th round of the 2006 MLB draft. In high school (Woodland), he lettered three years in baseball and one if football. At Middle Georgia, he recorded ten saves in his only collegiate season. As a professional, he was awarded best slider and rawest arm in his first season. Desmond will teach pitching and conditioning at Extra Innings.

Daniel Curtis – Extra Innings Instructor
Daniel signed with University of Tennessee out of high school in 1998; however, that same year he was drafted by the Atlanta Braves and is currently playing in their minor league system. Daniel's accomplishments include All-state & Player of Year in Chattanooga, TN in 1998. As a professional, he was named to the 2002 Carolina League All-Star Team. Daniel will be a pitching instructor at Extra Innings.

Tom Hickman – Extra Innings Instructor
Tom played locally for Pepperell High School where he earned Team MVP honors during his senior year. Tom also played on the 2005 East Cobb Yankees team that won the Connie Mack World Series in Farmington, NM. In June 2006, Tom was selected by the Florida Marlins in the second round (63rd pick overall).

Friedel Pinkston – Extra Innings Instructor
Friedel played college ball at Chipola Junior College. He began his professional career with the Washington Nationals but is currently with the Milwaukee Brewers. Friedel was all-state two consecutive years as well as a preseason all-American. A projected first round pick in the 2002 draft before an injury, he was drafted in the 8th round by the Expos in 2002, and in the 18th round by the Rockies in 2003. Other accomplishments include being selected to play on the junior Olympic team, and an award in the Junior Sunbelt Classic (Team Georgia) for MVP pitcher.

Eric Horton – Extra Innings Instructor
Eric played college ball at Jacksonville State University before getting drafted by the Toronto Blue Jays. He played in their organization for three years.

J.J. Jones Jr. – Extra Innings Instructor
J.J played college ball at Georgia College & State University. Afterwards, he played professionally in the Frontier League. His accomplishments include twice being named Peach-Belt Conference player of the week. He also led the team in stolen bases 2 years straight at GC&SU.

Scott Hendrix – Extra Innings Instructor
After earning AA Georgia High School Player of the Year in 2001 & 2002, Scott played at Kennesaw State University where his career stats included a batting average of .320, 35 homeruns, as well as finishing in the Top 10 in every offensive category. He also set the Clark-Griffith Collegiate Summer League homerun record (previously held by the Texas Ranger’s Mark Teixeira), as well as the St. Cloud River Bats doubles record in 2005. Scott coaches baseball at Cass High School and will be a hitting instructor at Extra Innings.

Eddie McDonald – Extra Innings Instructor
Eddie played college baseball at Shorter College from 1978-1981. He has coached for 21 years including a successful stint at Middle Tennessee State University during the 1991-1992 seasons. His teams were Ohio Valley Conference Champions both years. His ’91 squad played in NCAA baseball regional in 1991 in Los Angeles, CA. Eddie currently coaches varsity baseball at Cartersville High School.

Coleman Roberts – Extra Innings Instructor
Coleman played baseball at Georgia College. He currently coaches Girls Fast pitch softball at Woodland High School. His record as Head Coach at Woodland is 103-44 and includes reaching the Elite Eight in 2004. He will be one of the softball instructors at Extra Innings.

Adam Williams – Extra Innings Instructor
Adam played baseball at Snead State Community College. He is currently coaching baseball at Cass High School and will teach hitting and pitching at Extra Innings.

Justin McClain – Extra Innings Instructor
Justin played baseball at Florida State University and at the University of Georgia. After his collegiate career, he played professionally in the Independent Leagues. Justin will be a hitting instructor at Extra Innings.

Brad Davis – Extra Innings Instructor
Coach Davis also begins his second season with the Lady Eagle's softball program as the Assistant Coach. Davis is responsible for team hitting and working with the infielders, as well as scouting & recruiting. Brad has coached several travel softball teams in Cherokee County. Brad played baseball at Southern Union Community College.

Brian Adams – Extra Innings Instructor
Brian played college baseball at Middle Georgia Junior College and at University of West Georgia. He batted .387 at Middle Georgia and was Team Captain at UWG during the ’95 season. He also served as Student Assistant at UWG during the ’96-’97 seasons. Brian currently coaches baseball and softball at Cartersville High School.

Shane Arp – Extra Innings Instructor
Shane played baseball at Shorter College. He currently coaches baseball at Adairsville High School and will be a baseball/softball instructor teaching hitting and pitching.

Tim Ayers – Extra Innings Instructor
Tim played baseball at Georgetown College where he holds the single season homerun and RBI records. Later, he was the hitting instructor for two years at Indiana University of Indianapolis. Tim currently coaches baseball and softball at Cass High School. He will be a baseball/softball instructor at Extra Innings.

Wesley Cupp – Extra Innings Instructor
Wesley played baseball at Berry College in Rome, GA. He currently coaches softball at Cartersville High School and will be a baseball/softball instructor at Extra Innings.

Drew Startup – Extra Innings Instructor
Drew played baseball at Shorter College where he achieved such honors as All-Conference, All-Region, All-American Honorable Mention, as well as Academic All-American at shortstop. He currently coaches baseball and softball at Cartersville High School and will be an instructor at Extra Innings.

Patrick Jones – Extra Innings Instructor
Patrick Jones played college baseball at Volunteers State Junior College and at The University of South Carolina at Aiken. In high school (Woodland), Patrick lettered three years in baseball and football and was selected All-county. At Volunteers State Junior College, he made 1st Team All-conference his sophomore season. In his best collegiate season, Patrick hit .375 with 13 homeruns and 74 RBIs. Patrick will be teaching hitting and strength and conditioning at Extra Innings.

Will Startup – Extra Innings Instructor
Will was drafted in the fifth round of the 2005 draft by the Atlanta Braves out of the University of Georgia. He pitched in 25 games for the Rome Braves in 2005 and was 3-2 with a 2.37 ERA. Startup allowed 31 hits in 38 innings, 13 runs, 10 earned runs, only 6 walks, and 30 strikeouts. He broke spring training camp in 2006 with the Myrtle Beach Pelicans, but after one game was promoted to AA Mississippi and finished the season with AAA Richmond. Will is available for pitching lessons at Extra Innings.

Leigh Baker – Extra Innings Instructor
Leigh is an All-American pitcher at Reinhardt College. She currently holds numerous pitching records and is on pace to being one of the most elite pitchers in College Fastpitch Softball. Leigh is available for pitching lessons at Extra Innings.

Sean O'Connor – Extra Innings Instructor
Sean has been involved in collegiate and professional baseball for over thirty years. He's coached college baseball in Massachusetts and in Florida. He served as batting practice pitcher for the Boston Red Sox. He was a scout in the Rockies organization and has now been a scout with the San Francisco Giants for the last four years covering Kentucky, Tennessee, and Georgia. Sean is available for pitching lessons at Extra Innings.

Todd Seigler – Extra Innings Instructor
Todd played two years at Scottsdale Community College in Arizona where he was named All-conference as a centerfielder, while hitting .392 as a freshmen and .430 as a sophomore. Later, he played at Oklahoma City University where he was twice named Academic All-American.
